About 2 years back I was 2 steps from starting a blog and then, I defaulted.The tell-tale sign that I would default were always there.
The idea of blogging started when a friend of mine from toastmasters suggested after hearing my quirky speech: "You could start a blog and name it 'Oddities by Aditi'." Another time, a blogger friend of mine remarked that I possessed some talent in storytelling. I had always brushed these remarks aside with the thought ''Ah well, people are simply being nice to me.” And mused, "All original stuff that had to be thought of or written about is long over. I will only be adding to the never ending stream of redundant literature.'' In short, I was hiding behind the mask of perfection, surest way to procrastinate. Having unlimited time at hand (H-4 visa status), did not help either. Blogging could always be a goal for another day.
A sudden turn of events has threatened the existence of this 'unlimited time'. I can postpone no further. With a sudden frenzy I begin my blog, hoping to bring some justice to the 2 years I sat awaiting a better idea and a better time :)
